Welcome

Welcome to the City of Playford - named after one of South Australia's most influential leaders, Sir Thomas Playford, this region is one of our State's fastest growing council areas.

Playford is also home to some of Australia's most innovative projects - the Playford North Urban Regeneration Program, and Waterproofing Playford to name a few.

More than 70,000 people choose to live, work and play in Playford. It's the production base of the Holden motor vehicle, and hosts one of SA's most successful footy teams - the Bulldogs (Central District Football Club).

Playford is also a manufacturing and horticultural industry leader with the Virginia horticultural industry responsible for some of the best products available from a field, glasshouse, or vine.

We hope you find what you need on this website, and that your visit to Playford doesn't end here.
