The AWL is a volunteer non profit organization that works with local Councils looking after the welfare of animals.Their site contains useful information on their services and upcoming animal related events. UAMS uses the services of the AWL as part of our Feral Cat Management program and provides transport services to them.

RSPCA
The RSPCA is another non profit organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals.Their officers have enforcement powers and they are the lead organization in cruelty complaints. This site also offers lots of other useful information and links. UAMS also uses the service of the RSPCA and partners with them.
